hilarious nonsense... with a growing plot?

Very enjoyable, and the side characters are a delight.. i really want nichole to find her own happiness but unfortunately this is a romance... i feel like her and the crown princesses make the most dashing pair in the series frankly, but alas. I'll let this marinate because the insanity they create before leaving it on a cliffhanger KILLSMEEEE

This is literally so amazing

Three chapters in and you will be laughing while annoyed.

Dude is literally just dumb af and not considerate of his fiancés feelings at all, basically a himbo 😭. This will be a fun ride of miscommunication and getting your mf stuff together!!!

I love this so much!

This is such a refreshing manga and I have to admit it’s been a while since I’ve gotten so teary eyed from a story. I love how strong the FL is and although she is aloof to the ML…he deserves it so much. I love how the side characters react the same way as us the audience.

Give this one a try, it’s a great read 💕

Tragic, hilarious, stupid, wonderful

This review contains spoilers. If you hate miscommunication stories, you might hate this one. But it's truly wonderful. Unlike the typical trope of the cruel fiance being seduced away by the villainess, instead you have a thoughtless fiance who is BFFs with the genderfluid princess, accidentally making the main character assume they're in love. It's better than a story of cruelty and rejection. It deals with greater nuance -- how do you win someone back after they've written you off entirely? As the story points out, it's easier to charm someone who hates you than one who is indifferent. I'm certain it will end with a happy romance, but the fiance is going to have to work HARD to win her affection after the mess he's made.

I need more!!

Goodness me what an IDIOT HE IS!!!! My heart hurts for Nicole.. but I cannot help but think she really is better off without him... but I know deep inside she must feel upset about the whole thing. I wish I found this when it ended because now I will have to keep waiting for the next volume!

Everyone is an idiot and it’s hilarious

Seriously, they’re all idiots but in a funny way. The way stories are twisted and rumours started is unhinged and I’m loving it.

Strong heroine who stuck to it

The MC sticks by what she says and it makes this all so much funnier to read. Because she knows what she wants and goes for it. It's even funnier to see her translating stories and misunderstandings prevailing from that alone.

I LOVE that it changes the usual trope!

I love that it doesn't follow the same old trope of "an evil lady taking away the good heroine's beloved, trying to sabotage their relationship and paint the heroine as the villainess instead" - but it completely reverses it! I love how all of them try to clear up one misunderstanding after another! It's kind of sweet <3 I love all the characters, especially the clueless and confused boyish princess <3

I love all of them

This review contains spoilers. Fantastic cast of characters and honestly such a nice spin. I appreciate that it’s not for lack of love so much as obviously terrible communication that’s caused this all. No one was irreparably horrible, just flawed. Even the princess refusing to ignore her fault in things was wonderful and I adored her character (she’s fantastic). The would-be-bullies falling quickly to immense sympathy was as hysterical as it was heart-warming and I’m glad they could avoid going down an awful path themselves. Good luck to that ML though. He’s a fool but he’s sorely gonna have a time now that he’s effectively been wiped from the FL’s mind as a love interest.

Princess Caroline my beloved

This review contains spoilers. I'm really really enjoying this!! The art is beautiful, the comedy is done well, and the author moves things along at a nice clip. All of the characters are great, even the side characters: the scene where masc!Caroline shows up in the library oh my GODDDDD I love her. In fact I love that there are NO evil woman characters (sigh of relief) and the one time we expect one, she is subverted into Nicole's biggest champion. I love that so much. There are some really interesting nuggets about how women are treated in society, and Keios panicking and considering trapping Nicole so she doesn't leave him was both understandable and icky. He has some growing to do and I'm excited to see it!

I do have a mild critique: misunderstandings can be mined for comedy, yes, and the author does find new angles to pull laughs from, but as of chapter 11 I keep waiting for Nicole to like... get mad? The rock-solid obliviousness is starting to make me think she might just be a little dumb. Nothing wrong with that! But I think the author is waiting to make her angry because that will likely lead to a more transparent conversation, and we aren't there yet, and I'm just a little dissatisfied with it rn. Regardless I love this sm!!!!

Misunderstanding, but not frustrating

This review contains spoilers. Usually misunderstanding and miscommunications as the main plot device in romcom is usually deeply annoying and frustrating but this comic makes it somehow more hilarious every single time. Shes a little dense and he's an idiot with good intentions. And I cant avert my eyes for even a second 😂

Excellent

So much fun to have a female character who knows her own mind and what she wants. Keios' bumbling made me literally laugh out loud in places too. Definitely worth the read

Finally! A strong FL!

This manga is full of misunderstandings but it’s hilarious. No one (as far as I’ve read and I’m up to chapter 11) is malicious so it’s a very lighthearted read. I’ve laughed out loud at how ridiculous some of the situations are. The FL isn’t a hapless fawn, she’s smart and beautiful and knows her worth. Looking forward to seeing how the ML wins her back (if he does…)

Always Enjoy a Story Like This

Often times the characters around the ML are obnoxiously rude or mean to the FL, but this is one of the few stories that is not the case at all. The FL is very endearing and the ML is a moron, but his perspective does make sense, even if he's still at fault.

Misunderstanding Done Right

I usually hate misunderstanding or miscommunication as a trope, but this is done really delightfully. I love that there are no cartoonishly evil sadist characters, just people being people. I know it's not supposed to be what I want, but I really hope Nicole continues to value herself and not worry about Keios. I prefer him twisting in the wind. I hope she continues to have a wonderful time without him.

It is a sin, i tell you, against man kind to post just the first book. I have become so engrossed in this story that I have spent the last half hour or so looking for the 2nd and 3rd books online and i am now beyond upset that they are not yet available.

6 chapters in and I am tearing up laughing. Its so funny to see the lord's reactions. And love the fml's attitude to being ignored. Just learn to live for yourself!
