The plot is very, very similar to another story on this site (basically FL is a powerless older sister who is neglected, younger sister is a spoilt princess who bullies her, FL gets spotted by a rich, powerful hottie and asked to be his bride…) BUT the main difference is the FL is actually a headstrong character. This makes it a more enjoyable read because I am sick of all these types of stories where the FL is insecure and unsure and always looking to the ML for love and support. Big caveat that I finished up till chapter 7 and there’s no “love” yet but I am cautiously optimistic!

This review contains spoilers. This was such a good read. The characters are relatable and actually really fleshed out. Their backgrounds are explained so you understand why they act the way they do. I didn’t expect to be so touched by it but I think it’s such a good reminder that we are more than just our successes. The romance is also very sweet, no misunderstandings, no drama. Just two people who love and respect one another. Highly recommend!

This review contains spoilers. I don’t believe in marriage, so I get what this manga is trying to get at, but it doesn’t do a particularly good job. It’s almost like the FL does a complete 180 on wanting to get married at the end, just because the ML has a bad view on marriage. I also don’t really think there is proper character development with the two leads, nor does their relationship seem particularly deep. Just two randos who don’t really talk to each other. Wouldn’t recommend honestly.

This is a very typical misunderstanding trope where the FL believes she’s in a loveless marriage while the ML is actually super into her, but what makes it super frustrating is how pathetic the FL comes off. The ML does something super normal (gets her flowers) and she is touched that he cares for her. Fam, my friends do that for me. Then she meets a lovely new guy and she’s just too hung up over this dude who literally slept with her then pretended it never happened. Like if this is supposed to be romantic then we’re absolutely cooked. There are much better misunderstanding-trope romances out there. This one isn’t worth the money and kinda wish I didn’t unlock as many as I did……

This review contains spoilers. So it starts off really fast (they essentially have a drunken night together) but then it unexpectedly becomes sweet. ML doesn’t take advantage of FL’s situation and is really considerate. I wanna say it’s a slow burn but I think it’s well-paced. If you just want something spicy, this may not be it cos there aren’t that many spicy scene, but if you like a workplace romance with respectful characters, this is a good one!
