    Short summary
This review contains spoilers. The male lead is annoying for keeping on at the childhood male friend. He is annoying for being her first kiss. They finished his arc using the easy way out of having him move. The girl love rival's backstory is on topic with the theme of body image as that was the origin of this whole story and the female lead's friend is the best character.

    Atsumori-kun's review (to be)
As both have the arranged marriage trope and straying from the path given to them, if you liked this you may want to read that blue summer.

    Many high school couples
With such a big cast of characters there are foing to be some annoying ones that you can't stand, and this series definitely had those. However, it has many other characters you just can't help but root for.

    Seeing review the human heart
The best couple to follow are those on the cover art being the first and last chapters. Its a shame they had to give her a love triangle with a coworker, but its nice to see the salon staff have a connection with the other characters.

    Characters change
His childhood friend who had a crush on him skips school just to confess her feelings to his friend, his crush like someone else way too quickly because he was nice to her and his other friend will do anything for him and it doesn't really explain why.

More than what meets the eye
The female lead's lack of confidence along with all of the judgy background characters was the downfall of this story, but although the male lead was very extroverted and loud, he quickly cares for the female lead as he wants her to voice her troubles and hear her out.

    Magical mishaps
This review contains spoilers. From using shrubs and weeds at the side of the road to make a meal to making an edible witches finger, the story introduces many characters from a girl who wants to be a witch to the more experienced witch that turns her friend into an animal.

    Family matters
What is nice about this manga is that it's main focus is how the older brother doesn't put his feelings before his younger brother's feelings. The brothers are also very considerate of the chores and helping out their mom.

Don't judge a book by its cover
Here we have a studious and generous boy who looks like a delinquent and a girl who has fallen for him, even though she gets startled by his appearance. After noticing his good qualities, she wants everyone else to see them too!

    NOT recommended
Even with the live action adaptation on netflix, this manga is depressing with the topics it handles.

    When we shout for review
Yuka Kitagawa has a way of writing about two teens who become each other's only friend and sweetly explores the growing relationship between them. If you enjoyed Doing His Best to Confess and want something with a similar feeling, you should try out this one!

With an innocent and child-like boy and a kind and accepting girl brings a story that will make you smile and maybe even cry.

    Strawberry review
The progression of the main characters' feelings for each other will keep you wanting to read more. There are also a few chapters at the end which focus on the side characters.

    Short and recommended
Even though the female lead feels like a completely different character with her reaction towards the end of the series, this story as a whole is a very fluffy and wholesome.

    Repetitive and annoying
A supernatural story of a headstrong girl who does things her way all while manifesting her interest of other worldly beings in the form of her club mates, that she is not allowed to know.

    Underrated and recommended
An endearing shoujo about an aloof guy slowly building his relationship with his crush who is oblivious to romance. His gentleness and patience with her makes this a story any romance fan could appreciate!

    With just 1 chapter
Here are the reasons I wont be reading any more than chapter 1: The art style felt rather creepy, and the male lead's persistence and the other male's personality.

    The characters
A standard shoujo with a male lead who acts coldly towards the female lead at first, but later becomes more charming and caring towards the female lead as his feelings for her are beginning to show. All while the female lead tries to win his affection.

    There's more
Ending on a slightly darker note, this list of chapters is only the first season. In total there are 2 volumes but what is already here is the better side of the story.
