The art is gorgeous, the story idea would be a good one, but I think it needs to be expanded upon instead of all smooshed into a one shot. It’s almost as if all the substance and context was removed, and we’re just given the big events all laced together with nothing showing what led to them? I would’ve loved multiple chapters to build the angst, show more back story, show more of things that happened like the embezzlement being revealed, and really get to know the characters and have a chance to get attached (and/or dislike for a real reason) to them before the happy ending. Even starting in childhood like so many do(1)
