Reviews for Chihayafuru Manga

I've been steadily buying and reading volume 1 since it was released, but when I finished reading it, I couldn't help but worry about the next one. The sweet and sour feeling that can only be experienced by love, youth, and students is so wonderful.

It makes me want to play karuta anyway. It's a hot comic! It was tough where the story got heavier, but it's still more karuta than love. I want to read more soon!

I became interested because Omi-jingu Shrine, the sacred place of karuta, is my hometown. A passionate story about people who dedicated all of their youth to karuta. The pictures in kimono are very beautiful, and the sense of speed and intensity of the game is well conveyed. There is also a love element, so I'm worried about the whereabouts of love. It's a long story, and we've been in a relationship up to this point, so I want to keep watching it until the end.

I've been reading it since before it became a movie. I was able to learn about karuta, and even more than that, it depicts the enthusiasm, friendship, and love for the tournament from various aspects, so I've been reading it for a long time, but I'm not sluggish, so I never get tired of reading it.

My childhood friend is a handsome guy, and not only that, it was a youth manga that really made me want to cheer for Chihaya when I saw her playing competitive karuta!

Chihaya's straight line and insensitivity is cute lol I think that when you meet good friends, you are a good person, and that you can bring out the good points of those people and keep them close to you.

First... the storm of crying will come as soon as you start reading it lol no matter what volume it is... w this is youth!! it's just, my heart fever!!

Taichi and Chihaya are really sad (T_T) I wonder if their roads won't overlap anymore... Everyone worked so hard, there wasn't a single scene they couldn't miss, and it all probably led to the end, but I want Taichi to be rewarded anyway! Chihaya! Choose Taichi!

Not only Chihaya, but all of the characters are fascinating. It's a work that makes you want to cheer for children who are dedicated to what they love and work hard.

I bought it because I wanted to read it after a long time. There's also a romance element, but it makes me think it would be fun if there was something I could be this passionate about when I was a student.

Romance and friendship are overlaid in sports soul works, and I don't know who to support. Because not only the main characters, but also the subcharacters are insanely attractive, and no matter which character I empathize with, I'll definitely cry once; in fact, I've never done it. It's a long-term serialized work, but I think I can read it all at once. As soon as I started reading it, the world I was drawn to expanded, and I think I read one more volume... over and over again, and before I knew it, I was even reading the new edition. It's such a fascinating work.

I started watching anime when I was ignorant of competition karuta itself, and I fell in love with it in no time! And more in comics. Not to mention the main characters, all the characters are so adorable, drawn close to their own thoughts, and the story is irresistibly interesting! It's a work that incorporates a lot of excitement about the game, the sense of harassment of not being able to read the development, laughter, and emotion. The pictures are beautiful and there are so many scenes I like! Romance elements are not the main element; if anything, it's a sports youth manga. I will continue to enjoy reading it!

I'm crying for volume 1 more. Everyone is alive to the point where there are no supporting characters. Even the reader's life shines brightly. Everyone loves it.

The author's ability to carefully, delicately, and dramatically make a story right in the middle of youth, centered around high school students with rich personalities is amazing, but the greatest beauty of this work is “all the characters play leading roles”! It carefully depicts the adults around them worrying, hesitating, and moving forward while being influenced by the protagonists' passion, and it makes my heart heat as the same adult, and I cry every time (laughs). It seems like the end is coming soon, but I enjoyed it until the end, and I want to cry again.

I wasn't really interested in karuta, but reading this really bothers me. The characters are all cute, the picture style is super nice, and the story is interesting, so there's nothing wrong with that. Yes, I cried.

It is a sports comic based on Hyakunin Isshu, and it is a comic drawn by adding tangled romantic feelings to it. It's a wonderful work where you can unwittingly empathize not only with the main character, but with each character. The live-action anime and movie versions were great too, but I definitely want you to read the comics! (It has been deployed faster recently compared to the beginning.)

I started reading it on the recommendation of a friend. I read it all at once and cried so many times!! Not to mention the main character, all of the characters are wonderful.

Chihayafuru is a paper media artist, but I recommend this work that I want you to easily read electronically. Even if you don't understand the verses of Ogura Hyakunin Isshu, you can enjoy it to your heart's content! Rather, it makes me want to know the meaning of that phrase. The youth, friendship, and love of the characters who put their lives on competitive karuta isn't a heartburn-like sweet development unique to women's magazines. Rather, as you read on, you'll be struck by how seriously devoting yourself to something, and I think you won't be able to continue reading without tears.

Chihaya's hard work is just cute, or rather, cool. It's a work I love.
