Reviews for Chihayafuru Manga

It's been over 6 years since I came across this comic. Chihaya, everyone has grown up, and I'm deeply moved. The other day, it was announced that it will end with volume 49. I'm excited to see how it will end.

Thank you for showing me the depth of Hyakunin Isshu. I also love youth over competitive karuta, and in particular, I almost burst into tears at the beauty of waka poems woven into romance stories. I was born Japanese, and the subject called Ancient Literature, which allows me to understand waka poetry, is a compulsory subject and an entrance exam subject, and I thought it was really great!!!

I knew about Chihayafuru from the movie and thought Hirose Suzu was cute, but after reading comics, I thought competitive karuta was cool

The love triangle between Taichi and Chihaya and Arata is interesting. It's a national tournament, so it's cute that they eat Wataraichi no Niku Udon, which is the winner (*)?

It's interesting. I thought the world of karuta was amazing, so I bought karuta with my daughter, but I was unexpectedly frustrated. Karuta is a competition for smart people, isn't it? But thanks to this comic, my way of looking at Hyakunin Isshu changed. It's a work that has a lot of appeal other than karuta, such as trying hard or working hard together instead of alone.

It's not a major field, and it's not flashy, but in addition to the precise human relationship settings and psychological depiction, it's easy to empathize, and the explanation of the competition is solid, so you can enjoy it without prior knowledge. There are many quotes, and I think it's also an informative comic. I want to reread it again when I'm done

It's a pretty unique work called a girls' manga about karuta, but I'm drawn into the passionate development woven by fascinating characters.

Chihaya, Shin, Taichi. It's a very nice work where you can see the bond between the three. There's also a scene where tears come out along the way, there's laughter, and a bit of romance? it's like that lol

I think it's a work that really interests me about the meaning of karuta and karuta competitions. The pictures are also beautiful and easy to read. I read it so fast every time that I'm curious about the future!

I was watching the movie, so it was interesting to be able to reconfirm that it was this way of starting. Chihaya, Arata, and Taichi were sad because they had feelings for their partner, and all the members of the club were sparkling and burst into tears. Huh, that's awesome

When I started reading this comic, I didn't know anything about Hyakunin Isshu, but through this book, I learned about the fun and fun of Hyakunin Isshu. I think even people who don't know Hyakunin Isshu can understand it if they read it, and I think it's a comic that conveys the enthusiasm and passion for karuta of the Mizusawa Karuta Club members, starting with Chihaya. My favorite character in particular is Kana-chan. She's a girl who likes karuta/classical music, a different vector from Chihaya and the others, and she's already cute and I love her. It's a work that makes you want to do karuta!

Chihaya meets Karuta, and they work hard together with Arata and Taichi. I think it's okay to do my best in club activities and hobbies.

I watched the movie and got addicted to it, so I bought comics too. Also, since it is different from the atmosphere of the movie, you can enjoy it, so I recommend it to people who have watched the movie and haven't read comics yet.

To be honest, I think the subject of karuta in girls' comics is also weak. But what about the strength of this work!! It doesn't matter whether children or adults are doctors, students at the University of Tokyo, or examinees! Everyone isn't going to keep getting passionate about karuta, but that also takes a lifetime!! If you think about it, it's a bit of a serious romance, and Heartfull ♥ without that, it's still not even a girls' comic ☺.

It's a comic where you can get carried away with one thing, aim for something, and give you a lot of courage.

Anyway, the work is interesting! I'm worried about the continuation of this work! Expectations are high for time.

It was visualized and became a hot topic, so I bought it, but it's insanely interesting. But the downside is that it's as long as a shonen manga
