    Lived up to the title
This review contains spoilers. I'm glad the female lead stopped letting the toxic husband have his way and she went got her confidence back and got the happy ending she deserves!
Unfortunately there are some irritating things like how her friend just is okay with staying with her husband despite him cheating and ignoring her for a while......ending felt rushed in a way. I do believe her husband would quit because in Japan they don't fire people much do what happened to him made a massive impact and they probably removed him from things and demoted him.
Ladies and gentlemen if someone ever takes you away from things you love, criticizes, and only takes you don't even wait for more signs leave!
The title suited this very well!

    Very sweet and wholesome!
Although subject matter is adultery the story is very sweeet. I was rooting for the romantic couple from the beginning.

    Corny/generic but cute
This review contains spoilers. I enjoy reading stories that follow set expectations with very little twists once in a while. The drawing was good and it handled majority of the topics well, even if not entirely realistic. Nice revenge story with a good ending.

    Heart-fluttering but also heartbreaking somehow…?
This review contains spoilers. It really is just like a fairytale and there was definitely a happy ending! To me, it was bittersweet. Everything flowed well and there was enough detail that told this story at the pace it did. With nearly every connection that you see here, each character is significant in their own way. I like that about this manga, but somehow it felt a bit too dreamy for my taste. It doesn’t need to be completely realistic or delve too deep into fantasy, but it felt like there were a touch too many conveniences to make the main relationship work. I was rooting for them too, don’t get me wrong! It feels a bit weird to have Aki’s uncle kept under wraps for so long and even then, why consider his familial relationship with him insignificant? The ex-husband got his just desserts, though. And I feel sorta bad for the secretary? But not entirely. I dunno, maybe Aki and Shizuka should’ve waited a little more than six months to get married. It’s still a nice read! I just can’t give it 5 stars since I’m not 100% satisfied.

    Wowww!
There is so much to unpack with this manga. Lots of drama and passion in this workplace romance. Nonetheless, it’s a VERY good read. I found myself binge reading chapter after chapter just to see what happens next, and then sitting and thinking about what I just read when I reached the last chapter. There are chapters that shocked me, and chapters that made me happy. Lots of addicting cliffhangers.
