Bruh. Red flag city and only at Chapter 5.

You can't start a story with SA and then be all, "It's okay, it actually felt good for the victim" followed by "The grapist is rich and attractive and he only had the best intentions and just couldn't help himself because he was so in his feelings." And then the victim somehow magically is not fully traumatized by the assault and "falls in love," too. I stopped reading. This isn't a healthy fantasy, people.

Family obligations

Are weird. Kids didn't ask to be brought into the world, they have no obligation to "pay back" the care put into raising them. It's on parents to make sure to love and support their children and raise decent human beings. That's it. Beyond that, people should just live the life that makes them humble, grateful, and happy.

The ML is seriously off his rocker and over the top possessive, like dual personality with his public/private persona. When the mask comes off, so creepy. I took a star off because anyone in real life who behaves like that is a walking red flag who deserves to die alone. Handwaving it off as romantic because he "loves" her is a terrible message. That said, I'm enjoying the drama and character growth of the FL.

Ends well but kind of boring

This review contains spoilers. Slightly creepy. I get that he wasn't intentionally creeping on a younger woman with mental health issues, but the fact he could see her as a attractive at all considering he knew her as a baby is creepy. The girl is boring and way too timid. Who makes friends with someone who slaps them in the face? Heck no.

The story is not bad. The pair has complicated feelings, each learning to understand themeselves and each other. But it misses the catharsis of clear communication and acceptance.

I like that the characters come across as real people. They make mistakes and there are misunderstandings, but they communicate and work through it. The story is not finished yet, but this is one of the few I'm actually willing to spend money on.

The art is cute, but there's only so many times the class-divided FL should be desperately self-deprecating and run away while believing herself unworthy of ML who is constantly boinking her and proclaiming his love before it gets underwhelmingly boring.

almost all the way. Kissing someone while you're drunk and they're drunk is generally a bad idea. Other than that, he's emotionally stable, affectionate, supportive, cooks AND cleans, and is careful about work/life balance. These kind of guys do exist (I married one!).

At where the story went. I liked that the FL had agency and didn't change who she was for the ML. I was a little worried when Boss man tried the work pressure outside of work, but FL handled it. I wound up rooting for them. Second story was cute too.

This review contains spoilers. That's about it. "Gangster heir" wouldn't have that much freedom to say no to inheriting tasks and trying to live as an ordinary man. I'm glad he wasn't a psycho or sadist. "Ordinary but gentle woman" can be nice, but she was basically a prop even with her shared fate backstory.

This review contains spoilers. I definitely don't like that they gave up the dog. They could've found a new place together or the story should've had more lead on a nice family nearby that had kids, time, and room so he could still see the dog and how happy it was with the new owners. Expand their circle of friendships, y'know? But I liked their dynamic and the old man cleaned up nice.

I really wanted the ML to be more bold. It felt like he got stronger and more confident, but he still wasn't very in charge of his own direction; he kind floated where the plot took him and let others make the decisions.

I would've liked more exploration into the stories of the witch and saintess, and more about the political relationships of the different kingdoms, and the fact the lakes seem to have sentience, but the story wrapped up.
