Nope.This review contains spoilers. Too much like the soap operas my MIL watches. What's even the point of setting it in NZ, but the MCs are white? Dude forces himself on his wife and SAs her.

Unrealistic wish fulfillmentI know that these types of stories are supposed to be wish fulfillment, but the male lead feels like a poor person's idea of a rich person.

Loose endsCute characters, but the end of the story leaves a bunch of loose ends. It doesn't feel finished and the reader is left with a bunch of questions. I also skipped all the recipe instructions.

Bizarre, thoughtfulThis story really makes me wonder what I would do in the protagonist's shoes. It's only up to chapter 7 as of this review and I really hope it keeps an even keel and doesn't go off the rails.

Story 2 is out of pocket.The rest of the stories are cute. Happy, friendships, meet-cute, slice-of-life, enjoyable, but story 2 just kind of doesn't fit in with the rest of them.

This is why real communication is so important.Healthy couples communicate and tackle problems together. There was so much going on. First story resolved but everyone should have gone into therapy. Second story seems to be the redemption arc for one of the villains, but I'm annoyed it seem to be suggesting she'll eventually earn the green flag guy. I hope not bc he deserves his own green flag girl and not a trauma bucket.

Awww... poor rival in love...The story isn't finished yet, and I feel sorry for the rival who has done nothing wrong and is actually very sweet. FL is messy and stupid.

Drama. Two wrongs don't make a right.Adults with no communication skills shouldn't get married. Couples need to tackle problems together not just feel sorry for themselves and lay blame. Situations are true to life, that's what makes this a good and frustrating story at the same time.

I'm curious what direction this is going in.This is a really silly story, but fun once I got past the "Daddy" issue. Honestly, I'd be kind of disappointed if Pinocchio became a real boy and wound up with Geppeto. Pygmalion doesn't always need to wind up with the statue.

Two stars off for the red flag behaviorSomeone sober kissing someone drunk or unconscious is sexual assault. It kind of ruins what otherwise is a cute dynamic.
