I kept hoping the story would turn and let the girl eventually stand up for herself so the boy could get a clue that sexual harassment being justified as "I just love you so much" is not cute and shouldn't be rewarded. Let the jerk repent of being an jerk. But no, even the "kind" rival love interest was pushy. I finished the story to punish myself. Next time I see this trope, I'll just properly abandon it.(1)
