"I've found you, my spring." The Takatsukasa family is the largest conglomerate in the empire. Within their residence, there lie special gardens where all four seasons exist. These serve as a barrier, protecting the imperial capital from evil insects. The caretakers who maintain it are chosen from the four great families, each responsible for one season. Hio lost her parents when she was a child and was taken in by one of the great families, the Harusaki family. She's been bullied by the daughter of the family and is treated worse than a servant. Similar to other ones I have read, not mad at it.
This review contains spoilers. This story definitely has the premise I have read in a few other stories. FL has traumatic childhood, secret talent, adoptive family just the worst and the ML comes to the rescue. Though not a new premise I’m not mad at the story and will continue to read, plus I do enjoy the idea of the four seasons existing in one place being tended to by someone. FL and ML are nice and have good chemistry again nothing new and crazy but still a nice read.

The garden grows where you water it
This takes the phrase "the garden grows where you water it" quite literally. It's sweet and cute, as you'd expect, but the setting is where it really shines. The premise of the four seasonal gardens adds a lot to make things feel fresh and new. While I don't mind it when the story solely focuses on the two main leads, I like how the author gives the side characters roles that are just as important and impactful. It's still a little early, but I'd like to see how the story develops further. I think there's a lot of potential for the story to have a big payoff with everything that's been set up.
