Matsumoto is the ace pitcher of the baseball team. Sakaki is a third-year upperclassman who looks after Matsumoto like a wounded dog, having him do his biddings from time to time. Two puppies

Sweet and fun!
Both male leads are strong willed but head over heels. They find themselves and confidence in each other.

This review contains spoilers. Cute story, love when a story has multiple climaxes (huhuhu) and a satisfying ending.

The second part after they graduated had me feeling so sad for the villain! Poor angy old man. Loved to see them work through the hardships though

Don't understand but somehow like it

I don't really understand most of the characters. I got the feeling that clear thoughts or talks or explanation were striked out and instead it favored a specific vibe. And don't get me wrong, they achieved that vibe - somehow flimsy and wispy, but with the underlying heat. I think that's why they glossed over one'd trauma and somehow the feelings of the other one. They were just there somehow because of the vibes.

But, you know, the vibes really got me. So in the end, i read this a second time.

Actually very sweet

As others mention, trauma is glossed over, but the central relationship is very sweet. The side story is also intriguing and I hope we get to see more. I'm glad there is more to come!

Baseball puppy love

This is low on the sexy and kinda glosses over a traumatic experience. The story is sweet. Personally I like the bonus story better and wish it had a few more chapters. It's not marked as completed yet, so maybe the future is promising.
