For You, My Ghost

USD 0.99 / 99pt
Yosuke Sakura, a novelist who can't seem to find an audience under his own name, makes a living from the shadows as a ghostwriter. Then out of the blue, he receives a request to ghostwrite the memoirs of the vanished pop idol Haruka Masaki. Sakura gets cold feet when he hears that Masaki requested him personally, wondering what she would want with someone like him. But while he's thrown for a loop by her uninhibited personality, the distance between them gradually shrinks. However, once the interviews start, the reason Masaki gives for her disappearance paints a portrait of the entertainment business that is darkness itself...?!

    Fun story with interesting characters
This kept me hooked to see what happened next. It surprised me with plot twist and humor throughout. An interesting take on the idol experience.

    Cute Revenge, Serious Plots
This is a nice story that feels realistic. The ending isn’t the type of revenge everyone will want, but it’s the type that you can see happening IRL. Sweet story with romantic plots.

Good, but felt cut a bit short
The FMC is very enigmatic, and the MC is endearing. The real shame is that it ended so quickly - just when you’re getting attached to the characters and wanting to see them develop further.

    For you, my review
The phrase 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' really applies here, or at least it did for me. The art on the cover of this manga doesn't portray what the art of the pages inside show. I'm also wondering if this story is as dramatic as the description makes it out to be?
