Reviews for The Summer Hikaru Died Manga

I wonder what this feeling is. It makes me wonder if it really does exist. You can tell just by looking at it. You can understand it without reading it. If you read it, you'll understand more. it's a bad place.

The picture is so good. The way onomatopoeic words are written is unique and wonderful. I like it. What is Nanika... I can't look forward to the continuation.

this is interesting! The boys' depressing sense of blockage is emo ~ ~ there is still a long way to go, but I'm already expecting it to be animated (о'∀`ô)

Both the characters and the background are amazing. The composition is good and easy to understand, and you can easily imagine the scene. The story also unfolds in an exciting way, so I'm looking forward to the future! What kind of genre will it be? If I were to describe this work in words, near BL, codependency, horror. I feel quite erotic about the slight interaction between the two, which is depicted in this work, which is not BL. The sports warehouse scene was unexpectedly surprising! I'm looking forward to the continuation!

I read it halfway through on pixiv comics, and I was looking forward to purchasing it because it was finally a standalone book, and it's a development I can't take my eyes off where the muddy feeling mixed with the sweltering heat of summer oozes out, and I want many people to pick it up!

The content is a bit difficult, but it draws you in. I want to read more soon! I'm curious about the continuation! I recommend it!

It was a long time ago, but it was a hot topic. At first, I was wondering if it was horror, but that's not the case, the mystery deepens as the story progresses, and it's interesting.

I wonder what it is... this work has the feeling that various things are mixed together! BL, horror, and everyday life are mixed together, and it's like they mixed together into one work! Sometimes I can't keep up with the content, but the exhilarating feeling when I read it over and over again and was convinced is irresistible! I enjoyed reading it because I was fascinated by the relationship between the two that aren't in normal BL (;//////)!

I started with anime, but I couldn't watch the fake Kansai dialect anymore, so I switched to comics. The content is interesting. My heart is moved by Yoshiki's conflict and change of feeling against the light where the exterior remains the same but the contents are no longer human. By being with the light, Yoshiki herself is becoming less of a person, and I can't imagine their happy ending... both Maki and her mother have already forgotten about Yoshiki. Hmm, I hope future developments will be even a little good for Yoshiki.

I felt that the author was good at incorporating air into comics. The fact that they have succeeded in projecting what we feel with our skin into visual depictions, such as the sweltering heat of summer, the freshness of the morning air, the insidious atmosphere of the countryside, fear that slowly creeps in, and aversion to beings beyond human intelligence, is a factor that led to this work becoming a big hit. There was no sluggishness in the story, and scenes that always incite the reader's sense of fear, scenes that make them feel nostalgic, and moving scenes are alternately interwoven, so I read on without getting bored. The characters are all unique and charming. I think it clearly depicts how one person cannot change anything, but as the number of people increases with 2 people, a chemical reaction occurs, and reality changes for better or worse. It's a comic with a new feel that I want people who haven't invited horror comics until now or those who don't understand how fun they are to be invited.

It's scary and disgusting, but it's so interesting that I'm worried about the continuation and I can't stop. And the feelings for the two of them are so sad that it makes me want to cry.

It differs from other comics in that it creates fear with the way the pictures are drawn and onomatopoeia, etc., and there are a lot of things. There are also foreshadowing, etc., so I'm looking forward to future developments.

I love this story! I can't help but worry about the continuation. If possible, I want them to have a happy ending.

The anime PV2 was so good that I bought all the ones that had already been published and read them. It is said that it was originally conceived as a BL work, and the BL smell is slightly strong in the beginning (especially volumes 1 to 3), but it fades as Yoshiki recognizes “light” as “Hikaru,” so if you get through the beginning, I think you can read it even if you're not familiar with BL. (The depiction of episode 2 of the anime is at its peak.) The content is centered around the human patterns of two male high school students (1 person and Nanika), and it is a work that mixes folkloric horror elements and grossing elements like a fruit punch using the interaction of a group of good friends as a refreshing agent. There are places where the development from volume 6 onwards feels a bit rushed, but so far it's pretty interesting! If you like the friendship between students who suffer from feelings that cannot be expressed honestly, without fear or a sense of avoidance from homosexuality, this is a work I definitely want you to read.

It feels like a new genre of BL. It's a development where I can't read ahead and I'm really worried about the continuation! The main character was charming and I empathized with it.

The pictures were very good, the story was very interesting, and I was very curious about how it would unfold in the future.
