Reviews for The Summer Hikaru Died Manga

I saw it on Twitter and was curious and bought it. It's horror, but it's amazing. The drawing is amazing too! I was really drawn in because it just became a hot topic! Be sure to buy the next volume too!

It says BL, but it's mostly codependent. I haven't been exposed to many horror comics, so this is my first experience with such jingling horror, and I really enjoy reading them. The depiction of strange human relationships in the countryside was realistic, and I thought that was a perfect fit for this work. I'm looking forward to future developments!

The atmosphere and spacing of the paintings are wonderful, and I am drawn into the unique view of the world. I'm curious about the continuation, and I'm really looking forward to it.

What is “Nanika” that isn't my childhood friend Hikaru!!??? It's creepy rather than scary. But I can't help but want to know what's going on in this village. I'm already looking forward to volume 2.

horror BL? It was so messy, grotesque, and so nice. If 2 volumes were to come out, I would definitely buy them. It had a bad aftertaste and was very good.

The touch was also detailed and realistic, and the excitement of BL and the thrill of horror struck me alternately, and my emotions became a mess lol I'm really worried about the continuation!

This work has a deep horror mystery scent that goes beyond BL. It's horror, so the setting is impossible in reality, yet the human reactions are so realistic that I don't feel like “Oh, this is a comic character's line.” It's a line that says if you're a real person, you certainly wouldn't say this, so it's extra scary. The scenery of a rural town and the degree of reproduction of rural aunts and the like are terrible. Since I can really sympathize with the fact that there are people like this and that they talk like this, something like a warm sense of temperature peculiar to the countryside is transmitted from one end of the page, and horror is combined with that, so it's a comic that makes me cringe anyway. Even though it's a comic, it feels more realistic than live action, and I feel that the author's talent is amazing. Personally, I really sympathized with the reproduction of the sound effect “tetetetetetetete ♪” from the supermarket scene on page 98 and laughed (laughs) I hear that all the time at supermarkets. It seems like BGM has the effect of increasing consumers' motivation to buy. Volume 1 ends with a feeling that it's full of horror mystery elements, so there are only a few BL elements, but I've dabbled in this story once, so I can't go back. I think I'll definitely buy volume 2 when it comes out.

Horror comics with beautiful pictures are really good! It's not that there are terribly scary depictions, and the fear that slowly creeps in is also interesting. The feelings they have for each other are also nice. I like it.

It's too funny. I'm horrified when I read it... I can't say it well, but I get goose bumps... it makes me feel like that. The design is wonderful, and I don't know how the story unfolds in the future, so expectations are just growing... I want to read the new work soon!!

It continues so much that I'm worried! The pictures are good, and it's interesting both as a BL and as a normal story. I wonder if the reason I went to the mountains in the first place had something to do with my family? I'm also looking forward to learning more about it!

The jitters of summer and the conflicts and developments of adolescence are all exciting. The pictures are cute, and there aren't many characters, so it was easy to read. I really like it.

We met too soon. It's still volume 1. that's creepy... No matter what, I was worried that the laughing face of “Hikaru” on the cover looked blurry. Not a single mystery has been revealed yet. The important people, even though they all look like them, have become something different... how does the end point of the story settle down?

I was looking at other reviews! It's kind of like a mystery even in a BL film, isn't it? The content was very interesting and I was moved. I want to read more. I'm rooting for you!!

This is my first time reading this genre. The expression of the sound is felt not only as sound, but also by its jittery texture. Love that lingers in the thick, heavy, dark? There is. I'm looking forward to the continuation.

There are plenty of elements that draw you in, such as the shock of seeing Chainsauma◯ for the first time, and the deliciousness of the pictures and story. A work that makes you want to see the continuation soon

Overwhelming drawing power, unique onomatopoeia, and unfathomable developments will surely draw you into this work if you read it. It's sticky, wet, and dry... that feeling of summer. Even though it's large, it's small... that feeling of the countryside. Nanika wears her best friend's shell. Youth unfolds there. What's going to happen, what's happening, what's happening. Look forward to future developments.

Before I knew it, I had finished reading one volume in no time! It's a work that draws me in because the view of the world is so well-crafted! I can't help but be worried about the continuation!

First, I bought the design because I liked it, but it was definitely horror! But I'm attracted to the eerie nature of the story, which is so interesting that I don't want to stop reading it, and I'm worried that it will continue quickly. In particular, even though light is light, I'm worried about some kind of eerie light even though I know it's not light, rather than dying and not being able to meet it, even though I know that I can meet light. If anyone is interested in this work, I definitely want them to pick it up.
