Reviews for The Summer Hikaru Died Manga

The balance between horror and bromances (I don't know if this expression is correct...) is just right. I also like pictures and onomatopoeic expressions. I'm looking forward to the continuation.

A scary youth story. I wanted to know the truth of the mystery, so I read on and on. The depiction of youth memories, which seems to be in everyone's memory, is both beautiful and terrifying.

Is it horror BL as a genre? Is it just a regular comic? But it would be foolish to divide such good works into genres. Even the sound effects are part of the picture, and it's interesting to look at the screen. I'm good at expressing my emotions with pictures. I think artists who have found expressions that only they can draw are strong.

It was different from common love affairs, and it was a slightly creepy and scary story where the mystery called for mystery. It seems like you can feel just the right coolness when you read it in early summer

A best friend who has become something other than a human... trying to live as before while struggling with an unknown “something” that took over her best friend's body and memory... will they eventually be cursed and killed? Are there any cruel endings awaiting such cliché expressions? I'm very worried about the continuation.

This kind of work is such a strike. The relationship between the two, the slightly creepy depiction, the engaging story, and character settings for the characters are all great. I'm happy to have come across this work.

I don't really know how to express it, but it's very good, read it for now... I think ← crazy when it unfolds, it feels like every time I turn the page

It really stuck in my habit of liking at an indescribable level, and I couldn't get rid of it anymore. Anyway, the picture is pretty, or rather, it draws me in. I wonder what Hikaru likes actually... I've seen too many places where the two end up even though there's nothing but unease!!

I've read up to 2 volumes now, and it's a comic I love because it's an exquisite sense of distance between the main character and light, or something like love-hate that sometimes changes it even when there is a conflict between the two, or something that changes it due to ethics, so it's already adorable and sad. Isn't there some kind of happy ending...?

It's creepy but funny. I think the touch of the picture is also a factor that promotes creepiness. I'm really curious about the true nature of the light. Kaoru is cute (lol)

I was curious for a long time and finally read it. The atmosphere is unique, and rather than scary, it's a strange feeling. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the future!

I started reading it. Rather than saying it's still scary, it's a strange feeling, but little by little, the mystery dissolves, and it's scary. I wonder how it will end.

Even though it has a disturbing atmosphere, it's interesting to be able to laugh at casual conversations typical of high school students in dialects. I was worried about the future, so I just read it.

Rather than being quiet, the horror of the sky, which is unique to rural towns with a sense of blockage, accompanied by a sense of intimidation, is well expressed. Even with this, the background sounds that were so carefully written brought out the strangeness, and were onomatopoeic words this creepy...? It's amazing that it makes me feel that. The picture is ephemeral and beautiful, and the quiet sense of fear of Japanese horror overflows from all over. Personally, I don't think I need the BL feeling, but on the contrary, I also feel that this atmosphere creates the instability and danger of people around their sensitive age. Either way, it's interesting, and I'm looking forward to future developments!

Honestly, it's usually scary. But once in a while, there are scenes where I can't deny the BL feeling, but it's scary. I wonder if people who don't like scary things should be avoided for a bit...? But the story itself was made up, so it's really interesting!
