好き！

I like it!

This is a story about Hachiken growing up. But I wonder if it's about to end? I still want to read more stories.

The importance of life

This is a comic that taught me once again that behind being able to eat as a matter of course every day, many lives are taken for granted. I think the suffering of students who have to stop their lives until now is something we can't even imagine, but I want many people to feel that we must not just forget to be grateful for the lives they have received ('ω`)

Undisputed fun

I really like this author's view of the world. It feels like topics such as food and animal life tend to be serious and heavy, but the story unfolds with unique characters, and it's just interesting. I've only read it halfway through, but it's a work I want to read until the end.

Realize what's important

It makes me realize once again that “eating” means “receiving life,” and that we tend to forget even if we know it in our head. I'm glad I read it! There were laughable scenes here and there, which was interesting.

nice school

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. I think agricultural high schools are good too. I like the fact that children exchange opinions and talk passionately about meat sales. The food always looks delicious.

I can read it with my family. You will learn various things such as dairy farming, agriculture, cooking, etc. Like high school students, they also have a bit of love. There are also a lot of laughable places, and it's just so funny. I was surprised that the author was a woman.

What does it mean to eat life

When I was little, I was reminded of what my parents said at mealtime, “Whether it's vegetables or meat, you have given life, so don't be poor with food.” Also, my grandfather, who was a veterinarian, had a hobby of horseback riding, but horse sashimi was his favorite food. Because it's a life-threatening occupation, I think the difference from the flimsy animal protection groups we often see on the news comes out.

I want everyone to read it

Reminds me of “The Animal Doctor.” However, the content is very realistic and contains a lot of severe points, and it is deep. It's not the type of comic you read in a jiffy because you're worried about the continuation, so it's just right to read it when you remember it. It's a work I want all generations to read.
