Reviews for Giant Killing Manga

A manga with a well-thought out structure that you can enjoy even if you don't know soccer

I read it when it was newly serialized in magazines. It started around the same time as the Space Brothers, so this is also a longevity series, and it's still going strong and interesting! I envy the characters for being youthful even when they get older. I must cheer up when I read it! It makes me feel like that ()

It's a pleasant work that makes you want to confront even problems that you can pretend not to look at. Instead of positioning difficult things as painful, it's exhilarating to see them as interesting and working on everything in a fun way. I recommend it.

It's interesting to read it all at once. It's so flashy that if you read it little by little, you'll forget the previous flow. The depiction of soccer isn't strange, and the speed at which it progresses per volume is slow because it follows the flow of the game normally and carefully. Personally, the feeling of that careful game and the division of each depiction of the players, supporters, and front desk are key points, but whether they like that or not may depend on the person. Soccer lovers seem to be able to keep reading, but it seems ridiculous for people who aren't interested? But I think it definitely comes more slowly to adults than Tondemo shonen soccer comics.

All of the characters that appear are wonderful, and it makes me want to read further and further!

There are several comics where the director is the main character, and this one is also interesting. Nice characters! It makes me want to cheer.

I'm happy that it has resumed from hiatus. Speaking of soccer comics, this is probably it! I love it so much! While there are many middle and high school club activity comics, this one depicts the professional world, so as someone over 30, I often notice it in various scenes. It's such a comic that makes you think they'll do their best when you see players doing their best (^ ^)

It was really interesting as a sports channel, as it certainly was broadcast on NHK in the past

I'm an amateur when it comes to soccer, but reading this story made me enjoy it.

It's not something like following the growth of one talented player... which is common in soccer comics, and the content develops with the coach as the leading role. Everything about soccer teams is well covered in the film, and it's really interesting.

It was so interesting that I read it all at once! I love sports comics, but would you particularly recommend them?

It's not like I read a lot of soccer comics, but I don't think it's easy for a coach to be the main character. Of course, soccer lovers, but I think it's a work that can also be enjoyed by those who don't.

It's a seemingly common story about the regeneration of a club that had been sluggish, but I read it as a story about players, front desk, supporters, and everything related to the club growing, and I was drawn into this worldview. I've read a lot of soccer comics, and this is one I recommend.

There are many soccer comics in the world, but works that focus on directors are really rare. What's more, the depiction of the game is also drawn by an artist who knows soccer properly, so if the main character kicks it from a mysterious long pass, it's a transcendental shot! There are no stupid developments like that, it's a real game development. I'm happy when I win, and I'm disappointed when I lose. Immature players gain experience and become the strength of the team, and in order to compete against superior teams, the coach is influenced by luck and bad luck through trial and error, and soccer, which is not exactly a game where one person decides everything, is depicted as a team competition, so I like it. It makes me groan that the author really likes soccer.

I learned about this anime. The pictures were beautiful and easy to read, and I was drawn in so quickly. The anime ended prematurely, but I'd like you to make a sequel

If you're interested in soccer, you should read Jai Kiri. It is drawn in a way that has a different point of view from other soccer comics

There are various soccer comics, but this is a story where the main character is not a student or player, but the coach. So, many backsides of the team that weren't there when the players played the leading role are depicted. It was fresh even though I was used to watching soccer comics such as team management stories.

This is a new manga with an unprecedented director as the main character. It's interesting!
