Reviews for Giant Killing Manga

“GIANT KILLING” is a realistic soccer comic in which not only players but also coaches, clubs, and supporters are carefully drawn. It's interesting about tactics and psychological warfare, and I was fascinated by the passionate development where weak clubs challenge the powerful until the end.

I'm a big fan of baseball (a certain team in Makuhari), but even for me, “it's interesting!” It's a work I thought. Overcoming the difference with the opponent with strange plans and strategies by coach Tatsumi makes my heart heat up unexpectedly. Please read it.

It's a story where the director is the main character, which is rare in soccer comics. It's a story where the main character, who once climbed up to the Japanese national team as an OB, makes a strange plan as the coach and does giant killing as the title suggests... but the amazing thing about this comic isn't just its exhilaration. The main character is the coach, but the players picked up change every game, and the realism is as if you were watching a real league match through the team. Also, players who grow through games, changes in consciousness that occur when they win, and differences with the top teams. When it comes to answering these questions, I think the flow of a certain volume is really No. 1 Kamimaki among sports comics. I cried unintentionally as I read it. The heated developments continued even after that, and I became addicted to it. The way to get excited up to that point is really natural, and there are a long number of volumes, but the flow of the one-year season is well incorporated into the development of the story, so I never get tired of it.

There are a lot of interesting sports-related cartoons with directors as the main characters! The precisely calculated arrangements are interesting to read!

The cover is attractive, isn't it? It's as pop and colorful as American comics. I've only read a little bit yet, so I don't know the story, but the genre seems like a sports comic.

I understand the importance of management in sports. Occasionally, I hear stories where the mentor is the same no matter who does it, but it may be correct in the sense that you can't do anything flashy, but when you read this work, you can see that it's important.

There are many soccer comics, and most of them are made up of the personalities of the characters, including the main character, and that is interesting, but I feel that this work is designed so that people can enjoy the sport called soccer from a broad perspective, and I feel that they are genuinely interested in soccer. It's such a work that makes me want to go watch a soccer game when I read it.

I don't know much about soccer, but I was curious and read it. Even if I don't know soccer, I was able to enjoy it. That was interesting,

Speaking of soccer comics, there are Blue Rock, Aoashi, and Area Knights, etc., but I think this comic is the most interesting. There are various coaches, players, representatives, and spots, so I feel like the balance is good.

It was this month's power push work, so I read it. It's animated, isn't it? I didn't know. It's a story where the student is not the main character, but the manager of a professional soccer team plays the leading role, and it also depicts reporters and supporters, which is unusual. I'm also curious about the reason why the main character retired from active duty at a young age, and it seems interesting, but currently 65 volumes are being distributed, and it seems like it's been a long time with no end in sight, so I'm hesitant to buy it now.

I understand the fun of professional soccer. At first, it's a story about the coach, but then it becomes a story about individual players. It's good that it's not a special comic hero story, but a professional strategy story.
