I love itBoth the FL and ML are likeable, they are a lot of wholesome moments and quite steaming one, the romance is good and the story is well told.

Yandere~This review contains spoilers. There are sweet moments and there are steamy moments, it's got some non-con, and Stockholm syndrome. I really like the plot, where her magic turns her to stone to protect her because she can't bear to hurt anyone else, where he would just explode and destroy people instead of let himself be hurt. I hope she can return his feelings, but 20 years of waiting for her to become human again after being a statue really messed him up! He keeps her prisoner, seduces her mercilessly. She doesn't know what 20 years was like because as a statue it was just a blink before that he was her 12 year old student. I'm suspicious of this butler though idk why lmao - ah and the steamy scenes are pretty hot 🔥

Criminally underratedFantastic world-building and development of character motivations that will make you incredibly invested in their story and relationship. Words can't describe how much this story separates itself from the usual romance mangas.

I love it!The possessiveness and protectiveness of the ML is incredible. I really love how it jumps back and forth between current day and 20 years ago. It really helps you understand where both the MC and the ML are coming from. Teacher/student romance with almost none of the baggage? Sign me up!!

Surprisingly wholesome & top tier in every way!Likable characters? Oh yeah.
Believable relationships? Surprisingly yes.
Incredible art? Yup.
Interesting world? That too.
But it's also just remarkably deep too.
With a yandere lead, and the initial relationship between the ML and FL being one of a guardian and child, at first brush it seems like there's a high risk of ickiness, but in reality it's a really interesting and deep exploration of a evolving, loving relationship. It interrogates how love forms, the delineation between love and obsession, and the theme of loving someone for who they are vs. the literal and figurative version of them you've put on a pedestal.

Surprised reallyI was iffy with this title because I'm not super into fantasy however it was so genuinely sweet. The time skip was interesting and I loved how their story has progressed so far. Can't wait for new chapters!
