The drama is typical workplace drama, but with really steamy scenes that stem heavily from mutual, but unrequited, attraction. As the story goes on, you'll be drawn into this compelling plot.

Waste of time and not worth reading whatsoeverPretty much reads like it was written by someone who hates women and depicts them as manipulative, psychotic, and self-serving. The art is ugly, the story is dumb, and I wish i could get back the time I lost reading this.

NOT a romance--gratuitous cautionary tale of DVThis review contains spoilers. If you're reading this thinking it might be a steamy story about an unfulfilled woman who liberates herself and finds a matching partner in her boss (as the description and tags would lead you to believe) you'll be as disappointed as I was.
This isn't a romance. It's a cautionary tale about the dangers of domestic violence (including depictions of explicit harm done to the ML and FL) with graphic depictions of abuse and forced imprisonment.
The two leads are given no agency in the story. It's a messy, boring, and frustrating story that basically victimizes characters for drama rather than delivering any sort of satisfying, romantic narrative.

Surprisingly wholesome & top tier in every way!Likable characters? Oh yeah.
Believable relationships? Surprisingly yes.
Incredible art? Yup.
Interesting world? That too.
But it's also just remarkably deep too.
With a yandere lead, and the initial relationship between the ML and FL being one of a guardian and child, at first brush it seems like there's a high risk of ickiness, but in reality it's a really interesting and deep exploration of a evolving, loving relationship. It interrogates how love forms, the delineation between love and obsession, and the theme of loving someone for who they are vs. the literal and figurative version of them you've put on a pedestal.

Romance with a ML on the Autism spectrumIf you swooned over 2004 Pride and Prejudice's Mr Darcy, you'll like this one! This is a really light story with explicit consent and no over-the-top drama.

Cozy, sweet, and just a bit racyIn this sweet romantic story, the themes of fated love vs. love being a choice that you have to work at is low-key explored in this cozy romance. Complications come from sweet misunderstandings rather than actual drama which makes it easy to like the entire slate of characters, even the "antagonists" to the storyline romance.
This is perfect for you if you like:
- A strong, ambitious FL with a pretty fleshed out personality
- A tall, dark, and handsome ML with an air of mystery
- Racy scenes that aren't overly explicit
- Dramatic irony that's not drama-filled but instead delightful
It's probably not for you if you dislike:
- implied premarital/extramarital sexual relations
- not having an omniscient perspective
- unreliable narrators
I highly recommend this!
