The plot has old folklore written all over it, but with a modern storytelling twist! Lana is absolutely lovable as the lead with wit, strength, and charisma while Kaiser and the other characters balance her out well! I love how the story has romantic elements without focusing too much on it. The world feels fleshed out and believable while being a perfect backdrop for the antics of the characters. This was a wonderful read! Highly recommend if you like fantasy without to heavily relying on drama. It's silly, cute, and overall a very sweet story! The art is fantastic as well!

This review contains spoilers. A competent FL, it seems like. Exposition in the first chapter kind of reveals everything that is going to be laid out. But honestly this is really just for light reading, so I don’t mind. Seems like a fun story. Will continue for now.
