So I always tend to be cautious coming into teenage love stories. They usually come off as one dimensional with really basic characters and plot, but this isn't that at all! The main character, being the basic worry wort overthinking female lead, manages to actually push past her worries and fears often and has really realistic reactions to the events and people around her. Meanwhile, the male lead seems the stereotypical love interest for about five seconds before you realize he has more depth and personality then what these sorts of stories usually go for. The price point is certainly hefty, but the chapters are actually quite long, so worth it in my opinion. The story reveals itself quite naturally and I love how sweet the two main characters feel together. I also love the fact that the characters are together through the whole thing and it doesn't have that "will they won't they" overhanging arch found in so many school love stories like this one.
My only gripe is that the end is so sudden! I mean, all the story and plot got taken care of beforehand, so don't worry about things feeing unresolved, I'm just used to their being some "fluff" at the end. XD
