Reviews for MARRIAGE OF MERCY Manga

I don't know how many episodes of the original story have been omitted, but maybe they've covered them all ⁉? It was such a big drama that I could feel it. I admire Murata's and the editor's reading and drawing skills. I think it was a bitter increase in the number of pages since it couldn't be made into volume 2 by any means. Actual historical facts and people held the key, and I was very entertained by the profound and comicalized imagery of the original story ✨

The cover reminds me of the movie “Gone with the Wind,” but the inside was England. Since it's a historical thing, there's a lot of fun with costumes, aristocrats, etc., and there are mystery parts and places like action movies, so it's a great bargain

The disastrous events during the war were so terrible that people born after the war couldn't understand them. The fact that so many people were imprisoned in the wilderness of Dartmoor and died in such a poor environment is also an event that cannot be accepted. I would like to thank the author Murata sensei for writing such a story. After reading this story, I looked up historical background and prison matters. I'm thankful that I learned something I didn't know.

It's thrilling just to unfold the first half! I'm looking forward to the hero's transformation and it's exciting. The theme was heavy, but it was so satisfying to read! I was able to enjoy Murata sensei's world to the fullest.

I think there are times when it's about 30 pages longer than normal, but it was very nice that the finish was easy to read. I'm not good at historical, but I was drawn into only fiction based on historical facts, as if I were watching a movie. It wasn't just a love story; it was a human drama that brought tears to my eyes.

There are 30 more pages than normal, so it's worth reading. It was a bit disappointing that the last one was so light, but the healthy heroine and positive hero were amazing, I'm glad I bought it

Is this really Harlequin? It was such a profound story that I thought. I couldn't stop crying. I felt that the way it ended was unsatisfactory due to the number of pages. I also wanted to read the story after that, so I wanted it to be a 2-volume set. Murata sensei's pictures lighten the weight of the story and make it very easy to read.

It was a weighty story. War is something that takes away basic human rights, and it's amazing that the heroine actually lives in good faith.

Dartmoor Prison is said to be in a poor environment and life is at risk. I feel like the heroine, who has been waiting for her to come out safely, is just one piece of a strange half-life in the past. It's a story where the heroine, who was supposed to be an aristocrat's daughter, works to secure a place to eat and live, enters the daily lives of common people, and falls in love with a certain “Yankee” who is a dangerous element for the British government. In America's war of independence from Britain, England and America are enemies and allies of each other, and have different positions. The story, which is full of ups and downs, is handled with skill, and the ending is eventful. The story is interesting and makes me feel excited without getting bogged down, and it doesn't happen anywhere. However, there is no scene where I can be fascinated by the visual appearance of the two main characters as a two-shot, and I can't get carried away by the development of the relationship between the two. While the story progressed without stopping, I was somewhat looking forward to the process where romantic feelings deepened with a good feeling, and the sweet air that began to drift between the two, but I couldn't enjoy it. As is the case with the wind direction brought about by the Anglo-American battle, even in a small community called the village where the heroines live, the arrangement of characters does not settle down until the climax due to the chaos of enemies and allies. Unexpectedly, it was the second time they were interned. Is it possible to expect a safe exit from prison? I think the reader was told about his small life at the bottom, where there is a lot of roughness and lawlessness, by the very first prison depiction that picked him up. After all, there are references to harsher historical facts in the afterword. I'm not persuasive as to where it is rather safe. People you can believe, people you can't believe, I'm trying to make this story interesting by arranging it in a twists and turns. That certainly has an effect, but it is also true that they were unable to appeal the differences between bad people and good people with their faces, and they didn't have a sense of familiarity with the characters because they didn't take positions that were easy to understand in the story. There are only a few secret expectations that a good-looking guy will show up while he appears in Shaba. When it comes to getting married, “only” my favorite look. If the story is interesting, I'd like to think I should close my eyes, but if it's just a story, print is fine. After all, I wanted to confirm through the heroine's eyes that his appearance reflected in the heroine's eyes looks many times greater, for example when they meet again.
