Reviews for Knights of Sidonia Manga

It's a unique view of the world, probably from a dark fantasy series. However, the author's works generally have a darker setting, or rather atmosphere, and the story progresses without much explanation of the elements that seem important, and it is an easy-to-understand work with explanations so much that it can be said that it is an introductory edition. Still, it's a story full of mysteries. It seems that a slightly strange proclivity will be instilled in the second half, but if you overcome that area and read it until the end, a passionate development awaits. I definitely want you to read it to the end. At the end of the day, the anime also reached completion with a theatrical version. Be sure to check that out too!

Tsumugi is so cute that I'm in agony. There are a lot of things (sorry, there really are a lot of things), but that's all. Even though Tanikaze is almost a bad guy, only Tsumugi is a handsome man of dreams from beginning to end. That's a foul play! While thinking about it, I continued to push forward to the second half (sorry, there really are many others). After reading Sidonia, I began to have a strange love for mushrooms (“I have mushroom playing cards ❤,” and then cry at the mushroom curtain in the final volume). A deep sense of gender, a worldview that includes life and death, organic matter and inorganic matter, the beauty of buildings, and a heartwarming sense of academics. I've watched both the TV anime and the movie, and I can really enjoy this in the original story. It's pretty easy to read among Tsutomu Nihei's works, so I completely immersed myself in Nihei World from here on!

I watched the anime and bought it. At first, I thought I wasn't good at painting, but as I kept watching it, I was addicted to the scenario, which really drew me in.

Fighting in Morito to defeat Gauna... It's a futuristic sci-fi comic, but it was interesting because of human patterns and various circumstances involved. I started with anime, so the manga was a bit cluttered and hard to read, but it's still interesting!

Like Nihei Tsutomu's, this work is a bit difficult to decipher. However, when it comes to “The Knights of Sidonia,” the anime version is excellent, and once you look at it as a guide, it's pretty easy to get in. Especially battle scenes. On the other hand, there are also cases where questions are resolved by carefully reading the comic version where parts that were difficult to understand in anime are resolved. Since Nagano Mamoru's “Five Star Story,” I've worked so hard to read it.

The anime was interesting, so I was curious about the original and read it. I enjoyed it because it was slightly different from the anime.

It was awesome! thank you very much! Tsumugi are too cute.

A super expansive sci-fi work. A human drama that unfolds in a unique worldview. While talking about the future beyond imagination, I can really sympathize with the fact that the various speculations of various people are possible even in the present day. It makes me recognize that there is something wrong with the human ego, but I like the place that makes me feel so relaxed at the end.

It's a story about the future, but the story development slowly progressed in a sad direction, and I almost cried a little bit.

When I started reading it, I had no idea at first. TOA HEAVY INDUSTRIES, HAGS PARTICLE, GAUNA, etc. came out as a matter of course, and it was refreshing? I felt like that was enough, and since I didn't really understand the picture, I read on with inertia without worrying about the details. I learned that the anime was going on at that time, and when I watched it, the battle scene was three-dimensional and I could understand it very well ✨. So, when I went back to comics, I gradually got used to the language and worldview, and battles intensified, growth, suspense elements, and general relationships between people that were weak in other works (romantic comedies too?) It also joined and it became interesting ⤴. After that, it was mainly about “I'm worried about the story,” but it was interesting the more I kept buying new books. Also, it was probably around the time volume 12 came out, and there were other things I didn't understand, so I read it one more time. Then it's pretty interesting ‼. Once you understand the language and understand the worldview, you can quickly get into it by following only the story. When I reread it after I finished, I had a new understanding and fun again. This is a rare comic that increases my score every time I read it.

I also watched a little bit of anime, and I liked the worldview, but when I read it from the beginning, I'm addicted to it again

You'll be drawn right into a unique world! The character's facial expressions don't change much, so there may be a sense of incongruity with their expressions in times of despair, etc., but including that, you will begin to feel that it's a taste. An encounter with the unknown in outer space, which is different from fantasy. It's so exciting!!! I recommend it!! Be sure to keep watching until the end!

I've always been wondering what's cool about robots, but it's so cool to read this! It made me think. You will be completely drawn into the unique view of the world. Perhaps the good thing about this work is that I never thought that child would die.

The anime was interesting, so I didn't read the comics. But I know all the interesting things, so I'll just evaluate it.

This is the first Nihei work I've read. The characters are cute, and there is a good balance between laid-back gags and cool combat, so you can enjoy it.

I didn't notice the author's work since I first read this Sidonia, but this one is easier to read than other works and has a higher level of romantic comedy. Also, I think there will be a lot of human (& creature) dramas.
