Bittersweet and hopefulThis review contains spoilers. This story doesn't deserve the 18+ rating IMO. Even the LGBT content is relegated to a side character who is barely in it. That said, the protagonist is a lovely character with real agency, a good heart, and an indomitable spirit, which is nice to see in a manga. The other MC has a very tragic backstory but finds healing in the relationship that grows between them. The exploration of what makes real family, real friendships, and real love is done well.
