All the characters are interesting and there's just enough drama for it to be compelling, but not unrealistic

This manga is excellent. Please publishers please don’t drop this!!! I’m worried because it hasn’t been updated in a long time. If it’s because the managaka needs a break that’s absolutely okay. But if the publishers are putting it on hold because they’re debating whether to drop it then please don’t drop it!
This mangaka knows how to develop complex and sympathetic characters and the art is beautiful. It’s the first time I’ve seen a love triangle where I can’t decide which guy is better for our lovable imperfect protagonist. They are both truly good men (also with their own flaws) which makes the story fascinating. The sex scenes, while not numerous, long or detailed are VERY SEXY and pertinent to the plot.
Furthermore I’m totally invested in her best friend’s story. I usually find secondary character plots extremely boring. They are usually just padding. Not here. Her best friend is having an identity crisis and desperately needs to find a new way for her life. It’s heartbreaking. I need to know what she’s going to do.
So please don’t drop this manga!

Hoping for an update on this series. The story fleshed out the characters so well. Yuriko is such a lovable main character and relatable that you can’t help but cheer her on.

Please don't judge it by the synopsis and first chapter alone! This story is so interesting that I registered an account on this site just to catch up to the chapters. The characters here are really fleshed out, they have weaknesses, make mistakes, and have flaws. Check this out if you're fed up of the typical romance manga and want something a little deeper.

Fair warning: every single adult in this is irritating at one point or another, often multiple times, and there are some super cliche plot points that I scratched my head over. I appreciate that it's not obvious who she ends up with, and I do wish we saw more reflection on her part before the end, but I'm personally really happy with how it ended lmao. I wouldn't say it's a light happy read, but as far as josei goes, I'm satisfied.

All of the adults in this woman's life really suck except for the kindergarten dad love interest and her old high school friend.

She's trying to care for her elderly widowed father and he's ungrateful - all the nosey town folk talk about how she's mid thirties and unmarried - the head office love interest says he doesn't like her and should take better care of her father (bc he's jealous - he's an affair child who hasn't been recognized by his own father)

There's a campaign where rhe first 13 chapter are free, I'm on 9 as of writing so thoughts might change. Price per chapter is decent though, haven't noticed anything funky with the chapter lengths so far

The illustration catch my eye but I couldn't imagine I would be so inmerse in the story. I love the main protagonist, how she goes through life and confronts every problem it comes through. Also the life of Yoshinaga as a single father, how it is for him and his child living in a small town. The atmosphere is very well chosen to putball this stories in display.

Honestly one of the best josei out there. I am able to relate to how the main character feels even in my 20s. The societal pressure of marriage and the confusion that come along is so nerve wrecking ! Why is this so real ! I love it
