Rio is a completely average high school second-year, while her best friend Katsuki is pretty enough to turn everyone's heads. Who isn't a sucker for the mysterious loner? I know I am! And Echizenya absolutely lives up to the hype. He treats Rio so well, challenging her self-worth issues without ever pressuring her too hard. It's also adorable seeing him slowly open up and let her into his world!!! My favorite thing, though, is the positive messages about friendship, standing up for yourself, and learning to see and be seen by the ones you care about.
