Sayo has been working at a high-end hotel as a concierge, but due to some complicated circumstances also deals with some difficult work in a night club as well. One day, a younger yakuza leader from the Suou Clan by the name of Taki Kasai checks in to his booking for the suite room... and would change Sayo's life forever. After seeing how Sayo is unmoved by his Yakuza presence, holding firm and treating him like any other guest, it becomes clear that she's different from other women to Taki, and he begins to stay more regularly in the suite room. At the same time, Sayo begins to notice that the man who she thought was just some terrible Yakuza is actually sort of charming... perhaps even sweet...

My type of mangaArt style, impeccable. The gaze of their eyes to one another holds a lot of feeling. But I like how he pursues her and how this story line is going so far.

Love thisIt was interesting to see a male lead who’s cheerful, not like the stereotypical yakuza who broods and is cold. The way he’s into the female lead like a puppy is so cute. The story is very fast paced, so if you’re looking for slow burn and a paced character development, this may not be for you. Otherwise, I love the story, love the characters.

Love me a good Yakuza manga.This review contains spoilers. I had seen an ad for this and was sold. It’s honestly slow burn and builds well, then when it finally happens it’s soo good. I love how obsessed with her he is. His gaze, his aesthetic, the tattoos the muscles. Yes.

Everyone loves a good melodrama, but this manga takes it and goes without the frustrating romance conflict, giving us a night life drama with the romance path clearly lined up to be enjoyed! With more time to focus on the dynamic between two adorable characters (one being a Yakuza that loves sweets- always wonderful) there are plenty of moments to enjoy the love- spicy and sweet alike!
