Wholesome!If you get past the first chapter, maybe the second as well, it gets really cute and adorable.
The God gets unbearably gentle and sweet to the Sacrifice.
Also their babies are literally the cutest!
I'd definitely recommend reading this, if you can see past the assault.

MASSIVE NON CON WARNINGThis review contains spoilers. This relationship starts AWFUL. If you're squeamish about sexual assault, don't. It happens twice. I'm not a huge fan of "start on a wrong foot" relationships, and there's a simple resolution after between the leads, but it's not satisfying imo. Determination to complete a task does not resolve trauma from rape, which is something a lot of BL just glosses over. Their relationship escalates to love way too quick for that to be resolved. And then KIDS? Bruh. The art is pretty af tho.

I love the growth of the main protag, Rui, and how he comes to grips with living in this new world. He fits the bill, but at the same time, I found him to have a stronger personality, and he's not totally helpless. The story feels familiar, but there's enough to keep it distinct. The arcs are great and really moving the plot forward without feeling too forced. I love that, for the most part, the conflict isn't overly inflated, and it feels natural.
