Akari had wanted to be a novel writer for as long as she could remember. However, that all changed after what her high school friend did to her. Interesting story but...This review contains spoilers. It is an interesting story but it is a bit slow in some parts. It would have been nicer to see more of the story fleshed out especially with the resolving of the plagiarism issue. Also it seems to be two stories meshed into one. Maybe if this story had been longer, it would not seemed like a disjointed story. Parts were rush, part dragged and parts were vague.

Slow burner romances that put priority on the characters figuring themselves out and having their own moments with a complex plot hook make for some of the best mangas out there. Is there definitely a love interest and feelings developing? Absolutely. Am I excited that they put that on the back burner to allow the FL novel writer to pursue her career and figure out her issues? Couldn't be more excited. If you want a story that has compelling story notes but also has moments of exciting, thoughtful writing, then look no further!
