Recently, Taka'akira's team has been working on "Ladykiller" cases--victims were all young men, their faces ripped off and their arms and legs chopped off.
After warning Chiaki about the serial killer, Taka'akira encountered a monster...which a young girl sliced with her sword. She was Kikyo--a priestess who exorcises Magatsuhi.
Next day, he was told that he was transferred to Special Branch Zero, a special team that deals with Magatsuhi, inhuman evil beings in this world.
He is now the partner of Kikyo...but he has a feeling he had met her long ago...when?

This review contains spoilers.
