Extremely sweet story 🥹

This has left me tearing up more times than I could count! Beyond the absolutely gorgeous art and lovely character designs, the story and the way it handles all the emotions and characterizations hits so well! Even the eyes were constantly so full of life and emotions, always so gorgeous and telling to look at! The story especially does so well with capturing the overall sweet, sincere love without overcheesifying it - a task I feel that I so rarely see in this genre full of perfect men. The ML personality-wise surprised me, too, especially with how you don’t see much of that in this kind of genre (or in general)! I totally get Alicia, Gilbert somehow turned out to be my exact type…

The story never felt too out-of-place, either - it always had a good flow and sense of happenings and objectives without ever getting boring. Dialogue felt natural for its setting and situations, very rarely ever feeling too jarring and out-of-place to immerse in. The story felt like the perfect length, too!

I wish I could say more in general, but it’s hard to without spoiling anything. Overall, I really recommend this! I’m so grateful to be given the chance to read this story. It’s so rare for me to be touched this much by a story.

The Why of it all

Yes! The why of it all is the premise to this story. I feel bad for the innocent MC for being accused of all sorts of wrong deeds. Hopefully everything will work out. Look forward to the next chapter.
