Lady Lydia's Beautiful Determination Betrayed, and Set on Breaking Off an Engagement

This review contains spoilers. I love how the FL and ML are illustrated. The art is beautiful. However, I can’t make sense of the story because it just goes from 0 to 100. Everything that pops up seems to be some kind of dramatic persecution against the FL. Whether it’s that she’s being painted as a villain by her fiancé’s maid who is smitten with him, or some prince from a foreign country trying to seduce her in a rushed attempt to be with her, or the princess of that foreign country also labeling FL as her enemy for stealing ML from her when he wasn’t hers to begin with. I feel poor FL is going to be traumatized from the repeated threats to her quiet peaceful life. She’s got intuition and senses these things when they happen but is cluesless as to why which makes it easier to target her. I want to continue reading it but maybe not devotedly like I do with previous mangas. I’ll probably continue because FL seems strong when she has to be and ML seems like an honorable man who doesn’t mind letting go of the person he loves in order for her to be happy. That alone makes him great. I just wish he’d make his intentions known since he’s known her all this time and shouldn’t pass up this second opportunity to confess because at this rate there’s so much going on he might miss it.
