7th reviewI had a hunch she was there to motivate him out of his rut. And I was right. She symbolizes the thought process of you shouldn't give up on accomplishing your dreams just because it's not stable. He was reminded of the inspiration and confidence he needed!

Most, but not allA common factor I have noticed in this author's one-shots, is that there is usually a normal guy as the main character but the later introduced female character is mostly related to some sci-fi phenomena.
