This story should receive more credits and attention, it is such a great love story.
A pity there's not more, I'd love to continue reading about their life together as young adults.

"I want you, Moka..." There's a popular guy in class, and he can't stand the way the other girls look at him. The only girl he wants all for himself... is the plain girl sitting in the seat in front of him?! Moka Asano is your average high school girl, and sitting behind her is Izumi Kurosaki. Kurosaki's the captain of the soccer team, and is so popular that the neighboring schools have fan clubs for him! The girls always crowd around his desk, so Moka can never get a chance to sit down at her desk in the morning... but everything changes when Moka gets the chance to be close to Kurosaki when they see each other in the old school library. Even though Kurosaki hates being around girls, and tends to give everyone these cold stares, he looks at Moka with a bright smile and asks her "do you wanna date for real?" It's like he's a completely different person!

Mar 04, 2026 (PST) | Total Reviews: 29So sweetThis reminds me of the shoujo manga I used to read when I was younger. This just hits you right in the feels. The ML and FL are so sweet. FL is timid but not a total pushover and the ML is actually a nice guy.(1)

Feb 27, 2026 (PST) | Total Reviews: 166Phew!This review contains spoilers. Such a cute story! I was worried for a bit with all the jealousy from the ML, but it all worked out fine in the end.
The FL annoyed me a bit with her lack of confidence, but thinking back to my own school days, I get where it came from.
I certainly enjoyed reading this.(1)

Looking for some sweet teenage romance? This one's for you! Kurosaki is definitely "intense" like the title says, but he makes up for it by being Moka's biggest cheerleader and having some pretty damn suave one-liners. This is a good, classic "shy girl gets swept off her feet by the charming popular guy" story and it doesn't mess with the formula too much. After all, why mess with perfection?
