In the desert country of Zulan, Katrina, a visiting natural sciences researcher, is mesmerized by a man she meets one day in the marketplace. His eyes shine a brilliant amber, and he exudes the strength of one who lives in the desert. Chased by armed soldiers, he approaches Katrina, and pretending to be lovers so that he may make his escape, leaves her with a passionate kiss.
