  Satisfied as a period item
  This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. It wasn't a fluffy romance development from love at first sight, but it was interesting because it was a story involving various elements. It is understandable that the duke's arrogance was due to the fact that relationships between families were emphasized in aristocratic marriages. If you think about it in terms of common people's values in this day and age, this setting won't live. I think the heroine father, who soared up and ignored her daughter's feelings, also hunted down the heroine. Thinking about that, the hero's cleanliness was cool, and the heroine's nobility was also wonderful. A work I wish I had read in a longer number of pages.

A thrilling story entwined with history
  This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. Does it feel like a strange story of a man and woman with a causal relationship? I am overwhelmed by the turbulent body of the heroine. The fact that the Duke didn't trust Georgiana at first was unreasonable from his standpoint, and it is understandable that he had no choice but to treat him as a suspect spy. I didn't feel “proud” like the title says. I think it was just that they were suspicious and strict in terms of their duties. From the standpoint of the heroine, I'm impatient when it becomes difficult if people don't believe in me, but things don't quite go as expected... it seems that the consistency with actual history is also well organized. The experience of Georgia gradually becomes clear, and painful gunshot marks. As I got to know the heroine, my deep sympathy and deepening sense of respect were really exciting. ... I thought for a moment, but I feel like he was always treated as a villain when Napoleon's name comes up in Harlequin that I've read until now. I thought it was because the author of Harlequin wrote it from an English standpoint, but what do you think?
