Story :  You're great just the way you are. Even though Miku is 25 years old, she hasn't learned a thing about how to do her own makeup -- but her boyfriend, Haru, tells her that he prefers her that way. Miku and Haru live together, after all, and they might get married, in which case she'll just quit her job anyway, so it's probably fine never to learn... At least, that's what she tells herself. One day, a boy with a special love for makeup suddenly appears in her life. The beautiful stranger does Miku up gorgeously and Haru's reaction to her new look is almost unbelievable--? A story of starting anew and taking one's life back through makeup!

    amazing
Interesting characters that grow and change as time goes on. The drama doesn't feel forced, and the depictions of thw complexities of relationships feels realistic.

I absolutely adore this story so far! Will definitely be looking for updates. The characters are complex and believable and the relationships are so interesting and 'real'

    Great story
This review contains spoilers. I like how realistic this is, and how the characters' psychology is explored.
How the main character slowly builds her confidence and dares to choose her own path, managing to realise the toxicity of the relationship she's in.
How the character who seemed so free and self confident actually hides his own struggles, too.
But also how in spite of those hardships, he chooses to remain true to himself, in spite of the pressure. And I like how he allows himself express himself and to dress however he wants without feeling he has to conform to gender codes imposed on him by others.
I also like how the toxic abusive boyfriend isn't merely presented as a brute, which would have been the easy way, but the reader is made to understand that even he is struggling with his own past, although the author doesn't excuse his attitude and his actions.
It's rare to read manga that explores the complexity of human psychology like that.
I can't wait to read the rest!

A Passion for Makeup Might Save Her from an Abusive Boyfriend
She was used to all his casual bits of "advice" about her makeup. This suits you, that doesn't, there's a time and place for that, etc. It seemed harmless enough until a new friend helped her to see how much that advice was taking control of her life. As she begins to think for herself again, her boyfriend only tries harder to control her. He wipes off her new red lipstick and calls it "filthy," and she starts to wonder if the love they share is really love at all... Where will these realizations lead her next?
