Beautiful!This was so unique and imaginative, with such beautiful drawing. I was hooked from the first page. A great story, great characters. It's perfect like this, but it could be the central story for a huge graphic novel with fully developed side characters and sub-plots - basically I want more please!

An enjoyable readThis manga was the first BL that I had ever read. It is an interesting plot set in a fantasy setting. The characters are well written, I just wish the relationship between the main characters were built up a little better rather than begin on solely a satisfying needs situations. Not my favorite in terms of characterization, but still enjoyable.

The detailed art-style is wonderful. I could easily imagine the colorful feathers of the Zhenniao through the black and white of the manga. The relationship between the two is tense due to misunderstandings, but they gradually come to love each other, but the sadness of not being able to kiss each other because they are poisonous.... The weight of their different races weighs on them, and at the end, I was moved to tears!
