This review contains spoilers. This story is kind of BL but really isn't. Since FL despite turning into a man still feels like a woman. Now this brings up a whole nuance of being trans. But idk I feel as if maybe making FL a woman in the end, just with manly features? Just to stay true to her original character. Since she silently hints that she was a female human rather than a male. Despite saying she doesn't care, which in fact I do think she cares about.

Or maybe have the ML turn into a merman, that would've been an unexpected twist in my opinion. What would happen if two merpeople fell in love?

But then again this story has nuance in every way. Between being trans and accepting the fact you’ve fallen for someone that isn't your usual type, but can't deny your feelings.

This review contains spoilers. I was thinking this might be a weird stalker thing (still not okay, but it’s fiction). I was weirded out by the spy cameras, and him m**ter**ting to her while she’s getting herself off. (If he was just watching her through security cameras okay…. But in her home?? No) But once she said ML name, him practically breaking in and r***ing her was too far imo. No consent, poor FL has no clue why or how things ended the way that they did. The conflict of her body enjoying him but her mind isn’t, is violating. This is r**e s*xualized. If it was a story about consensual non consensual r**e with proper research from the BDSM community then sure. This? No.

This review contains spoilers. Great read, could’ve done w/o the ex. But that ending is a bit ambiguous. It either could mean that he sleeps more often because he’s a senior or that he passed away right there and then. Idk…..
