This review contains spoilers. The typical Cinderella type of story. ML who is a prince, acts cold, but underneath very sweet and falls in love with unfortunate girl who gets bullied by her family. The story starts off strong with the impact of the long mistreatment and abuse the FL gets to endure. They both have their scars and it’s really sweet to see them grow closer over time. Unfortunately by chapter 17 (and even after the family trope) I felt the story was going backwards and getting a bit draggy towards the end. Chapter 17 actually feels like a genuine ending, but then gets further chapters which for me wasn’t really necessary since chapter 17 already felt like a solid ending with no need of another set of villains trying to ruin the ML/FL’s life. Some stories should just end on a high and not get dragged on any further. Unfortunately this story suffers from that syndrome.
