The Self-Assured Crimson Lady

Pretty Boring

The plot is very “tell don’t show.” A lot of it happens in exposition dump off screen. The end result is that the ML’s motivations don’t make a lot of sense and he kind of flails about like a muppet. The FL and her childhood friend have a fun dynamic and they’re both really cute but there not much for them to do. The cutesy evil girl isn’t even really a character so much as just a prop. Overall it doesn’t do anything to stand out in a sea of “blonde girl in a red dress villainesses.” It’s the generic brand Walmart Great Value version of a story that’s been told numerous times. It’s fine but not something I want to pay almost $2 per chapter to unlock. It’s not worth that.
