A normal dude, devoted to his sister, essentially offers himself in exchange for her freedom in this beauty and beast-esque story. Good little mid-burn romance with fun plot and interesting world. Feels like the author wanted to make a lewd manga about one of the adult side characters in Witch Hat Atelier.

Was a little spooked when they got married when she was 16 and he was 24, but they do an eight year time skip and everything is fine again, since they don’t meet until the end of that skip. And then my dude does start their relationship off with an assault, but it’s apparent where that comes from and he swiftly realizes his mistake. But all that aside, it’s a cute story. The characters are interesting, but clearly well paired, and will make a lovely couple when they do fall in love. The art is pretty and the story compelling. Overall, a good manga. Points off for the assault though. 

Wish I could read the light novel. Look forward to the rest of this manga.

I don’t know why so many of these have the FL as like, completely oblivious and low-key afraid of men, but that is how this protagonist is. The story is overall cute, but like, my girl doesn’t know what is happening at any time or why. At least the dude doesn’t actually sleep with her while she’s blackout drunk. But then he does coherce her into doing lascivious things, so like. It’s not morally great. But the overall story is still pretty good. And it’s so short and actually finished. So it’s worth a read.
