Bear with me because I'm only 6 episodes in and I'm feeling conflicted. The female lead is somewhere between 8-12ish years old. Her fated mate is hundreds of years old. HE IS NOT BEING CREEPY. He is acting like a parent - concerned for her physical and mental wellbeing, beginning to discuss her education, providing food and clothes, etc. I REPEAT: THERE IS NOTHING SEXUAL OR ROMANTIC HAPPENING. However! They are fated mates. I understand that this is fiction, but the underlying storyline is making me very uncomfortable. He is taking a parental role knowing that she will eventually be his wife/life mate. That's grooming. If that aspect were removed entirely, I think I'd be all over this story because the art is gorgeous and the storyline is otherwise very wholesome.

This is fun so far! I'm going to probably be buying this one! The art is pretty too. The story seems little shaky, but solidly spicy!
