Reviews for Daemons of the Shadow Realm Manga

I really liked Fullmetal Alchemist, so I just compared them (sorry!!) At first, I read fearfully, and before I knew it, I read through a few volumes... in a blink of an eye. Arakawa-sensei is really good at creating a worldview of characters and stories, isn't he? I felt that Yusen no Tsugai this time is a new battle comic with a unique perspective. In addition to the main character Yul, who has been in an isolated village for a long time, and the mysterious So-sama, a wide variety of Tsugai are involved in various characters, such as Yul's friends and hostile opponents, etc., and every time they appear, freshness is added to the battle, which is interesting. Not only is it a mysterious battle, but there are parts that make you think about right and wrong, which completely changes depending on how you look at it, so it's a pretty heavy story. There are still many mysteries, so I'm looking forward to reading how they are unraveled. The drawing power is high, and I feel that the touch of the picture is simple and beautiful, but there are plenty of scenes that are quite cruel, just like Fullmetal Alchemist. I definitely recommend this work to those who don't mind cruel scenes!

I think Arakawa-sensei is one of the geniuses of comics, but this work is also addictive. When I first read only volume 1, I had the impression that, like Yul, I didn't know what was what... but after volume 2, I started to see the story, then it became interesting. Other highlights include the gap between when Asa first appeared and the cuteness of the animals. I think it's dark fantasy, but my personal impression is that the story might not be as heavy as “Fullmetal Alchemist”... Currently, up to 8 volumes have been released, but I feel like I still can't see the full picture, so considering that there are many long works by Arakawa, I wonder if it's still early. Once you start reading, you'll be worried about the continuation and can't help it, so it might be a good idea to read them all at once after the number of volumes has progressed a little further.

The ability to make you continue reading in a furious manner without knowing what is what is is amazing. I'm really impressed by the powerful picture and development.

The pictures are clean and easy to read! It's a power push work, so I only read the beginning. It was to the point where Tsugai came out, but what will happen now... what happened to Asa?

As expected, Hiroshi Arakawa has never been out of place in this teacher's work. The story's fun and sense of speed has a strong momentum. I'm trying to read it after I've finished, but I'm worried about the continuation.

Arakawa Hiroshi sensei's new frontier. I like Mr. Hiroshi Arakawa from Hagaren, and he shows me a new world every time, even with this. This work is also very impressive and interesting after all. I'm worried about the continuation.

The first thing you thought was Asa and Yul, not Asa and Yul? That was it. The impression of Hagaren was too strong, but the new story seems interesting too. I'm looking forward to this work.

There is nothing wrong with Hiroshi Arakawa's work! I simply take my hat off to my sense of creating works of different genres one after another. I can't read future developments, so which one is justice? really?? I'm worried about the future. The more I read, the more interesting it is, so I want to read more soon!

Together with the main character, they are thrown into a story about an incomprehensible situation. It's surprisingly easy to read if you connect lines and dots that unfold at a dizzying pace without knowing who is on your side. I don't think I would have read it if it had started with a long character introduction and explanation.

Recently, the number of “good at drawing” manga has increased, hasn't it? However, as a manga, I think “is it easy to read?” is another story. The “picture is good” and the “story” should be interesting, but there are quite a few manga that seem “hard to read.” However, Arakawa-sensei's manga are not “difficult to read” at all. That's probably true of the fact that the drawing is clean, but the story isn't needlessly sluggish, the action is clear, and I don't get tired of reading it (every time I collect foreshadowing, the story is so good that I want to look back at it), so there's no stress at all. It was so funny that when I noticed, I was buying all the volumes as adults. Keep reading soon!

A work by Arakawa Hiroshi, known as Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. It's fun to read it right away every time a new publication comes out. There are things that attract you no matter where you take it, such as gag scenes and serious Shiobai, attractive characters, and a fusion of realistic elements and fantasy. I read it so fast that I can't stand it because I want to read ahead! There is also something that makes me think about the contrast between Yul and Asa and their twin brother and sister. If you like modern Japanese-style fantasy, I can recommend this work.

The idea, setting, and characters are really interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing how far they can go, and it's good that right and wrong are vague

I was a big fan of Hagaren. I wanted to read Arakawa-sensei's work after a long absence, and I heard that there was a new work, so I started reading it. I am drawn into the depiction of characters, battle scenes, and slow paced scenes drawn by Arakawa-sensei. The relationship between the main character and her sister is also interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the future. Above all, the coolness of drawing a man and woman who are full is amazing!
