This review contains spoilers. THE POOR MC CAN'T CATCH A BREAK, CAN SHE? Kasumi was able to get away from that manchild of a boyfriend she was living with, but at what cost? As a woman who has gone through bad relationships this is a hard read but also makes you feel not so alone in the experience.

Her new BF comes off as the knight in shining armor type, swooping in to save her. As the story progresses the relationship fills you with more and more unease. I thought he was just seeking revenge on the two coworkers but it's much more insidious than that. If the woman your ex cheated on you with is worried you are in TROUBLE. I hope it turns around for Kasumi somehow. The author really has you on your toes with each chapter and I LOVE it. Can't wait to read more!

I like it so far but at the same time her bf is being a bit much to say the lease when the girl who went after her ex starts to worry n gets scarred of the things the bf says hed do n thinks n even tells u to look in a mirror n basicly says this isnt u u know its bad the thing he did with his phone at the party rubbed me the wrong way i just hope this doesnt contiun on like this
