There's a promo right now that I was able to read all 9 chapters for free.

I'm not a huge fan of the dynamic between the two main characters. FL's slightly older and always thought of the ML as a little brother while the ML has feelings for FL. Now 10 years after being separated they're reuinted and she finds out their parents have married, making them step-siblings. FL is still clueless to ML's feelings but he seems to be trying to keep it under wraps for now.

Not a huge fan of the "siblings by marriage not blood"/"they technically weren't raised together" tropes. And because this is a regency Era type of story there's also a spoiled cousin in the mix who's in love with ML/jealous of FL.

Wouldn't have read so far into the story if it weren't free but I'm interest to see where one of the side plots is going.

This review contains spoilers. I only read the first chapter to write this review, but I think the ML is a let down.
FL is harassed by the maids and ladies of the house. The young lord is forcing himself on her when the ML appear and claim he is looking for someone. The aggressor yell at ML for interrupting and drag FL away. FL resist and the ass rise his fist to strike her, but ML does nothing until he hear the rxpist scream FL name. FL is the person he was looking for! So, now he jump in to stop the assault... Yeah... He wasn't going to let the girl get rxped until he learn it was FL. No thank you.
