I’m not usually a contemporary fiction fan since they tend to be all about mafias and billionaires but this is more down to earth and cute. Sure it’s a bit unrealistic that the ML is secretly a hot popular rocker but not so unrealistic that it pulls me out of it.(1)

If you want a cute story that makes you want to squeal, and kick your legs in delight, this one is for you! Very typical storyline, but with a focus on being a better person for seeing all around, good looks or not. It is a sweet, endearing romance, thats both comforting and emotionally sincere with relatable character growth. The MC does not immediately change thanks to the ML, but struggles with trying to change and improve. A slow-burn slice-of-life high school romance, I keep waiting to see what happens next!
