Reviews for Goblin Slayer Side Story: Year One Manga

I think people who don't like melancholy developments should not read it because “characters at a level that can normally be used as heroines die hard (and in a pretty bad way).” However, it's a genuinely interesting work, so I recommend it to dark fantasy lovers such as Berserk.

Prior to episode 1 of the main story, the story was about when Goblin Slayer was still in its infancy, or rather “When I Didn't Team Up with Anyone.” Goblin Slayer's own monologues and interactions with the receptionist, rancher girl, and the weapon shop's father are interesting, and there's a charm not found in the main story. There are also many depictions of characters other than Goblin Slayer, which is interesting. In particular, the receptionist who intimidates Goblin Slayer in volume 2 is a must-see. Like volume 1 of the main story, ○ wasn't born, but this was intimidating until “I'm smiling but I'm not laughing.”

I wonder if the place where they are overrun by weak monsters like goblins is going well, and it feels like the future will be cruel ❔
