Reviews for Thermae Romae Manga

I laughed the whole time I read it! Roman bath engineers seriously research baths and build baths for people around them. As I read it, I fell in love with the main character, the bath engineer, and I wanted to take a bath (laughs). I bought a pack of up to 10 episodes, but I want to read more soon.

It's a comedy about bathing culture. I learned a lot about historical materials related to baths, and it was interesting. The movie with Hiroshi Abe as the main character was also interesting.

The movie was a great dinner, and it was very interesting. Abe-san is a really addictive role. perfect. The cover picture da ➖➖ looks just like an elephant. This is the first time I've seen comics, and the pictures are so beautiful. I thought I was looking at a black and white photo. I wanted to see more interesting stories like this.

6 volumes in total. The history, culture, and customs of ancient Rome are perfectly combined with modern Japanese culture and baths. Lucius, a bathhouse engineer who is too serious, travels back in time to modern Japan! There is anguish, there is laughter, and there is sorrow. Sometimes they almost can't go back to their original place, or they try too hard and are targeted for their lives?! The bath connected ancient times and the present day, and it was interesting and interesting. Satsuki's ability to act is amazing, but even more than that, Satsuki's grandfather's popularity and ability to act is amazing!

Lucius was struggling with the design of the bathhouse, and time traveled to modern Japan... it was also made into a movie and is a very popular film, but the setting is novel. I also know it became popular.

It depicts the passion for bathing, such as hot springs and public baths. This is the first time I've read a comic about baths, and it's a work with excellent knowledge such as the history of bathhouses, and it's easy to understand because it's laughable. I felt that the artist's point of view was amazing.

I watched the movie and laughed many times, and the comics were great too. Meticulously written pictures are worthy of respect. The last one was good even though it was an impossible setting.

Amidst the ridiculous, there is also seriousness, which is interesting. Why is it so funny? It's a strange work. I watched the movie version after reading the comic. Although there are many parts with different settings, they were put together around 2 hours without losing the fun of the original story, and I thought the film was well made as a film. But after all, the original one is more interesting. A good work worth reading.

Rather, wouldn't this film be even more enjoyable if people who watched the movie were interested in the original story? I wonder if the content was what I thought. It's a film that gathers a Japanese cast with dark faces... lol the author of this film is only someone who has deep knowledge of Italian culture, and the reading material in between episodes is also very interesting, but even without that kind of tough history, I was curious about how to settle a relationship with time travel elements added, let alone long-distance relationships, such as healing for people in modern Japan and the ancient Roman Empire through bath culture, let alone that long-distance relationship That's it.

The story is also interesting, but it seems that the actual Roman emperor also drew it based on historical facts as much as possible, and it was also a learning experience.

I'm glad I read the original story first. I'm sure you wouldn't have understood the merits of the movie unless you knew the flow and punch line of the original story. It's a work I personally bought without any regrets without laughing from beginning to end!

The movie was great too, but there wasn't an original story, probably because it was solid. It makes me want to be proud of my flat face.

It's interesting. You can enjoy it whether you're interested in Roman history or not.

When I first read this book, everything was shocking. An interesting story and solid drawing power! It's good.

The historical background is solid, and the fun starts to creep from Ato

It was made into a movie, so I was curious about the original story and read it. Manga is definitely more interesting!

The short story in the first half was more interesting. Lucius's serious misalignment and exaggerated emotion is “is it there!?” It will be. The story is almost complete, but there are things like “I'll keep writing” written on it, and that bothers me a bit.

I didn't know there was a bath culture in ancient Rome. But Japanese bath culture is something to be proud of! People with flat faces are popular ~ ⤴

It's a story about what ancient Rome and Japan have in common = they like baths lol it was very interesting with a novel setting that wasn't easy.

After reading it, it made me feel like I wanted to take a leisurely soak in the bath (laughs) I started reading it expecting a gag that oozed out of the cover, but he's just a sculpted person who seriously thinks about baths. That's why it's funny, and of course there are gags! It's a nice work that makes you proud of Japanese baths.
